There are many books written about the life of people and the early
church. But how accurate are they? How can you be sure that the
material you read is not twisted or distorted? How can you be sure
you are living a life according to God's laws and principles? The
answer is - go to the source of truth - the Holy Bible.
The Bible encourages you to "check it out yourself",
to investigate its claims thoroughly because your conclusion about
Jesus and the way you choose to live is a life and death matter.
Where we spend eternity is our choice. No one else can make that
decision for us. We can choose to follow God, be obedient to His
Word and receive the reward of eternal life in Heaven with Jesus.
Or we can choose to be defiant and rebellious and live our life
according to our fleshly desires and suffer the consequences of
eternal death in Hell.
What do you choose? Who or what is guiding your decisions? Because
the Bible is founded on historical truth, our spiritual growth must
involve careful, disciplined, and thorough investigation of God's
Word so that we can understand how God expects us to live. Read
the facts - the Bible facts.
