This is commonly called the "Sermon on the Mount"
Matthew 22:29-33
The question of the Resurrection is discussed
Mark 11:15-18
Jesus purifies the temple and again addresses the matter
of prayer
The scribes and chief priest were afraid of Jesus because
the people were astonished at his doctrine.
It is safe to conclude that all of the matters that Jesus
discussed and taught could be referred to as the doctrine
of Jesus Christ.
Mark 4:2, 12:38
What does it take to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?
Believe, accept and appropriate the death, burial and resurrection
of Jesus Christ
into your life.
If you make my word your home you will indeed be my disciples.
--John 8:31 The Jerusalem Bible
Becoming a faithful disciple of Jesus is a process. Jesus
took twelve men with him to walk with him day-by-day and
live with him for three years. The training wasn't all at
once, though some of their experiences stood out like mountaintops.
But many of the lessons centered around the incidents of
life, a healing, the observation
of a tree, the reaction of Jesus' enemies. Little by little
he shared with them how he looked at life. He helped them
see what was important and what was not. It was a journey,
a process, and it took time.
To disciple others for Jesus Christ what do we need
to do?
#1. It is imperative that we teach people
We must be involved in developing classes of instruction
and the actual instruction of those who have come to a saving
knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We have been sorely lacking in this area here at RAC as
well as the Apostolic movement in general.

One of the greatest qualities of learning is when we teach
others. We must know what we are talking about. To do that
requires that we have studied. I can teach you many things
but until you are actually involved in teaching will you
learn.
