Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom
shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come.
The World Christian Encyclopedia reports that more than 1 billion
people have yet to hear the gospel. That's 27.8% of the world's
population.
JERUSALEM - Global civilization is on the verge of "World
War III," a massive conflict in which the Islamic world will
attempt to impose its ideology on Western nations, according
to Meir Amit, a former director of Israel's Mossad intelligence
agency.
Amit, one of the most esteemed figures in the international defense
establishment, warned Islamic nations and global Islamist groups
will continue launching "all kinds of attacks" against
Western states. "We are on the eve of war with the Islamic
world, which will wage a war and all kinds of actions and attacks
against the Western world. We already noticed the terrorists in
the world hit Spain, England, France. I call it World War III. You
must look at it from this angle and treat it wider, not as a problem
of terrorism here and there," said Amit, speaking during an
exclusive interview with WND's Aaron Klein and ABC Radio's John
Batchelor broadcast on Batchelor's national program. Now in his
mid-80s, Amit serves as chairman of Israel's Center for Special
Studies. The former intelligence chief referenced recent terror
attacks against Israel, Europe and the United States; Iran's alleged
nuclear ambitions; the insurgency in Iraq and Afghanistan; and worldwide
Muslim riots.
Arab-American Psychologist Wafa Sultan: There Is No Clash
of Civilizations but a Clash between the Mentality of the Middle
Ages and That of the 21st Century
Following are excerpts from the interview aired on Al-Jazeera TV
on February 21, 2006
Wafa Sultan: The clash we are witnessing around the world is not
a clash of religions, or a clash of civilizations. It is a clash
between two opposites, between two eras. It is a clash between a
mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality
that belongs to the 21st century.
It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the
civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality.
It is a clash between freedom and oppression, between democracy
and dictatorship. It is a clash between human rights, on the one
hand, and the violation of these rights, on other hand.
It is clear beyond all doubt that we are living in the very end
of times with the threat of war on every hand imminent. We are well
into some of the most interesting, challenging, and dangerous times
in human history, and will continue to experience them daily. In
order to survive, much less prevail in the times ahead, we must
start to perceive the future more clearly, and take proactive steps
to be prepared.
The gospel has made the greatest advances in its history in the
last two decades, but in the West and many other countries, it has
been pushed to the very fringes of existence, and can retreat no
further. Indeed, it will not retreat any further.
Without question the gospel is being preached throughout the world.
But the task is still great. We understand the mandate of the church
.
"Go into all the world and preach
the gospel to every creature". We cannot shrink in our
efforts to do the Lord's bidding in respect to this mandate.
... The time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God is at hand....
Mark 1:15
We are entering the season of the "at
hand kingdom" and many will reach out and receive it
to become the "in hand kingdom." To posses the Kingdom
is to be possessed by the KING.
When the time is full destiny is inevitable. The irresistible force
of change coming from heaven is at hand. Like a mighty wind in strength
and power the gospel of the kingdom shall roll across the land.
First the land of many hearts and finally across the land and the
seas of the world.
We once sang with great joy, "The King Is Coming".
Now we will shout with supernatural power and strength, "The
KING Is Here!". Does anybody say,
"EVEN SO COME LORD JESUS"
We once sang, HE LIVES, HE LIVES, Christ Jesus lives today,
He walks with me and talks with me... and tells me I am his own.
Now we experience a real and intimate experience with Him. His love
floods our souls and our spirit becomes one with His.
We once cried out for Him to shower us with blessings and
make us a blessing to others. Now our hearts break with passion
to be more of a blessing to Him. To pour out upon Him love and honor
of which He is worthy. Our bodies tremble and our knees buckle as
we fall prostrate before the KING of all glory. We are possessed
by the KING.
Daniel 12:4-9
[4] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even
to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge
shall be increased.
[5] Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the
one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that
side of the bank of the river.
[6] And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the
waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
[7] And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters
of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto
heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for
a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished
to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall
be finished.
[8] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what
shall be the end of these things?
[9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for
the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
1 Corinthians 15:24 Then
[cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom
to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and
all authority and power.
Verses 20-23:
Order of the resurrection:
1) verse 20 - Jesus Christ arose from the dead
2) verse 23 - They that are Christ's at His coming
THEN
..are you listening
THEN
cometh the end!!!
I am astounded to think how near the coming of Jesus Christ for
the church and the end is. The gospel has been preached in this
church enough times to same thousands but they are not listening
and certainly not taking heed.
1 Peter 4:7-8
