Daughters Of Zion (DOZ)

The Daughters Of Zion is made up of women who meet on the first Monday of each month for focused prayer. The purpose of DOZ is to take the front lines, wage war and win back the territory that Satan is trying to destroy in our families, church, city, nation, and the world.

Satan knows that his time is limited and he is doing everything in his power to bring down as many people as he can. The DOZ have made up their mind that the Enemy is not going to win this battle. We will intercede for our lost world and get as many people into heaven as possible.

During our meetings, a monthly calendar is handed out containing focused prayer on a theme for the month. Each week, prayers are lifted up for a particular focused group with each day containing a focal area.

The Scripture says that if you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you have his power and authority to bind evil and loose God's plans in any situation. It is important that we bind the enemy in the Name of Jesus Christ and loose the Power of HisHoly Spirit.

Matthew 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

Matthew 18:18-19, Jesus says, Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. [19] Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus explained that we must first bind the strong man before we can plunder his house. When we are facing an evil stronghold in life, we must first use our inherited authority as children of God to bind the evil forces involved. After that, we can loose or call forth God's blessings. Our faith in God's word releases the power from heaven that binds or ties up the evil we are facing. Similarly, when we loose something on earth, we permit the power of God to fill our life and repair the damage done by the strong man.

The DOZ are using this power and authority in their focused prayer. Each day we bind one of the enemy's strongholds and loose one of God's blessings to fill our lives.

Taking The Front Lines
The Lord is looking for intercessors to take the front line and wage war against the enemy. Don't know how? That's OK. The Lord will train you. As you yield to the Holy Spirit and His calling, He will mold you into that mighty warrior.

Want to join God's army? It's easy to join.
The requirements:

Desire
Be willing to be trained and be used by God
Humbleness
Boldness

As you take the front lines, there will be distractions:
You will be attacked and the enemy fights unfairly.
The enemy will try to take your focus off of winning souls.
Some arrows will just skim the surface.
Others will penetrate deep in the heart.
Take courage, be strong, and focus on God.
When the enemy gets in your face, remind him where he is going.
If God be for us, who can be against us.

Remember - The Gates of Hell will not prevail for the Lord Jesus Christ is on our side!

Ladies, the choice is yours. Are you going to sit around and watch the enemy steal your children, family, friends, and all those around you? Or are you going to be bold, be courageous and take the front line for our Lord Jesus Christ?

Are you ready to fight the battle? Are you ready to join forces with other intercessors and wage war against the enemy?

If so, then before going to battle, make sure you are dressed for battle. In Ephesians 6, the Lord says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Therefore we must put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the evil one.

Put on the Whole Armor of God

Belt of truth - fill your mind with the Word of God.
Breastplate of righteousness - the breastplate covers the heart. We must live moral and upright lives. If you are in right-standing with God, you are filled with courage knowing that you are protected by the righteousness of Christ.
Shoes of Gospel of Peace - be ready and dressed for battle. Be ready to receive your marching orders. Your walk is the witness of your speech, behavior, and your attitude.
Shield of faith - the shield will protect you from the arrows of the enemy. Totally trust in the Lord Jesus Christ in all things. When guilt, condemnation, or fear starts to come your way, lift up your shield of faith.
Helmet of Salvation - the helmet provides protection for you thoughts. Your mind directs the rest of your body. Take every thought captive to the Word of God. Don't take extra supplies into battle. The excess baggage of fear, sin, and worry will only weigh you down.
Sword of the Spirit - there is power and authority in the spoken Word of God. Us it to wound or kill the enemy.

Using the whole armor of God, we are not only ready to protect ourselves from the onslaughts of Satan, but we are also ready to overcome the strongman and advance the Kingdom of God.

Standing in the Gap
Jesus stands in the gap for us. We must stand in the gap for the world.

In Genesis 1:28, God told Adam "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it…" Subduing the earth always starts with the spoken word. We must subdue the earth by speaking for God. He has given us dominion, but we must subdue through prayer.

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God's method is clear.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

If we will, God will.

God does not seek for a nation, a congregation, or a family to stand in the gap, just a solitary man or woman. Will you be that person who stands in the gap before God and cause a person, family, town, or nation to find grace in the eyes of the Lord?

Unite together with us in prayer using our monthly calendar and focused prayers.

Use the Binding and Loosing Weapons of Warfare Table as a reference for your spiritual warfare.

Using the monthly calendar and focused prayer
Each month there is a different theme for our focused prayer and spiritual warfare. Some of the months may be geared towards the ministry of the church. For those months, change the names and ministries to reflect your own church. When referencing ministries in a calendar, the spirits that are bound and loosed for that day are not geared towards an individual, but fit the specific needs that each church is confronted with.

Start your prayer by reading and reflecting the scripture for the day. Then bind the stronghold for the day and loose God's blessing. Follow the binding and loosing with the focused prayer that is provided for the week. The focused prayer is just a guide for you to follow. Be led by the Spirit to move into your own personal prayer.

Also provided on the monthly calendar are three missionaries that we lift up in prayer for the month. You may want to change these missionaries to ones that your church helps sponsor.
